I also loved seeing the Ryu moments Out of everything so far I think this volume has best shown Sawako's capacity for kindness. I also loved seeing the Ryu moments in this volume. His encounter with Sawako is definitely going to play into the story later on and I can't wait to see what happens on that front! Kazehaya didn't play a huge part this time around in person, but Kurumi's presence more then made it so he was never truly absent.
I really enjoyed seeing how, even though she isn't the person Sawako thought she was no duh , she doesn't get played up as this big romantic villain. She's definitely still an antagonist, but Kurumi is shown as a very real person who just isn't entirely sure what to do when faced with someone as honest as Sawako is. Jul 09, Miss Ryoko rated it it was amazing Shelves: library-book , manga.
I want to throttle Kurumi but at the same time I feel sorry for her Plus, it is also hard to see the person you like so much be interested in someone else Haha, I feel exactly like Chizu and Ayane! They are so fabulous!! Once again Love the characters minus Kurumi I can tell because I'm flying through these volumes at a much faster pace than I have with a series in a while.
May 15, Hannah rated it liked it Shelves: manga. The entrance of the standard shoujo cliche - the pretty girl who likes our male lead and would use any kind of dirty, underhanded method to drive Sawako and Kazehaya apart. The only upside is that it doesn't work, but it's annoying that Shiina Karuho had to use this at all. Mar 19, Chisom A rated it really liked it. It was alright, I mean not as "OMG" as the others. Mar 09, Douglas Cootey rated it it was amazing Shelves: young-adult , manga , romance , inspiring Chapter 15 was my favorite.
The misunderstanding between Kurumi and Pin was hilarious. What excellent writing and pacing. Mar 03, Francesca rated it really liked it Shelves: manga.

Here are a few: I liked how fast paced it was, how quickly Kurumi's plan came out instead of the usual long lasting angst of mangas. I like that we get to see Sawako's flaws and Kurumi's point of view too, that it's not a black and white situation in which we are made to clearly cheer for the protagonist.
For my teenage-self it would have been good to see this, as well as Sawako's compassionate response to Kurumi There are many things that I enjoyed in this volume and in the whole series so far. For my teenage-self it would have been good to see this, as well as Sawako's compassionate response to Kurumi's hurtful words to her and, very important as well, that the main character and her group of female friends is not the perfect looking one.
But why does Sawako have to be the only one to respond with such empathy and understanding to an other girl's crush? Already the fact that a girl's life in mangas has to revolve around boys is very dangerous and immature, but why does it also have to bring about negative feelings from and towards other girls?
Such a disruptive behaviour.. Kurumi's appareance that resembles a beautiful doll is the first thing we notice in her and we are told so more than once, so my past school colleagues would have agreed that she fits the perfect-looking love interest the best, unlike the full of flaws Sawako. I enjoyed seeing Sawako's character and self respect come out when she replied to Kurumi at the beginning of the volume, and her journey to understand and define this "love" aka a crush.
Lastly, I like how the love interest despite being the usual good looking perfect kid is not misbehaving with Sawako to catch her attention, or hurting her with misunderstandings or ignoring her for fun etc.. Finally a manga I am happy teenagers have. Sep 06, Lou Lou and Life rated it it was amazing Shelves: contemporary , romance , shojo , favourites , favourites , read , manga , coming-of-age. Because I've been struggling to read recently, so I decided to pick up some of the mangas that I've been collecting. I find them the easiest to read so I'm hoping that this will push me out of my reading slump.

Plus, even if I am super tired I can still get through quite a bit of a manga before I have to put it down. I can imagine that until the end of October a lot of my read books will end up being mangas. Kurumi plots and plans against Kuronuma for Kazehaya, and in this volume you see if it works or not.
This volume has one of my favourite scenes, and I absolutely loved watching it in the anime. I really like the development of the friendships in this volume, and I can't wait to continue on with the series. I'm so glad that I have another 16 more volumes to read of this series, and I can't wait to collect the rest of the series. I highly recommend this series if you love high school romances.

This was one of the most cute volumes Ive read this far. It was full of emotions and confessions. Sawako, chizu and Ayane only grew closer to each other, they keep finding ways and reasons to defend each other. Shota was the absolute most adorable character ever, his ability to blush and feel emotions right away was the most beautiful thing ever. He is one of the totally honest kids that u know are incapable of lying and will show how they feel instantly.
